BJ's Charitable Foundation was established with the goal of creating a positive, long-lasting impact on communities that have a BJ's Wholesale Club. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance and enrich community programs that primarily benefit children and families.
Eligibility:Community organizations that provide serivces that help end hunger and support self-sufficiency, health care and education.

Free, one-hour basic grantseeking workshop. Learn about the Nonprofit Resource Center collection at the Central Library and receive hands-on training on how to use the Foundation Directory Online database to find new funders.
Workshops are held at the Robert P. Kinchen Central Library: meet on Level 3 for collection orientation, then up to the Level 4 Pass Computer Lab for database training.
Please call 315-435-1900 to pre-register. Space is limited.
Group orientations or one-on-one database instruction may be available by special request. Please contact the Nonprofit Resource Center Supervisor for more information.

FDO Powersearch – the grantseeker’s ultimate power tool
The Foundation Directory Online (FDO)database now offers a power search option to find results from nine Foundation Center databases—grantmakers, companies, grants, and 990s, plus news, jobs, RFPs, PubHub reports, and nonprofit literature. FDO users can now refine their searches on the fly, adding or removing search criteria to narrow and broaden results lists without having to start the search over.
