The mission of Captain Planet Foundation is to fund and support hands-on envrionmental projects for children and youth. They work to encourage innovative programs that emplower children and youth to work individually and collectively to solve environmental problems in their neighborhoods and communities.
Proposals must promote understanding of environmental issues, focus on hands-on involvement and involve children and young adults. Grants awarded range from $250-$2,500.
Deadlines:3/31, 6/30, 9/30 and 12/31
